Pirates Win Westmoore Tournament
The Putnam City Pirates went 5-0 over the weekend of Aug. 13-14, besting US Grant, Westmoore and Moore during pool play on Friday. On Saturday, they made quick work of Southmoore to reach the finals and then defeated Norman North 3 games to 2 in the finals.
Congratulations to Shaundra Hicks and Hailey McCorvey as they were named to the All-Tournament team.
On Tuesday, Aug. 17th, the Pirates travelled to Norman to play the Norman High School Tigers. They defeated the Tigers 3-0 to move their overall season record to 6-0.
